We aim to achieve a happy, family atmosphere with a close working environment. Relationships will be supportive and encouraging and the level of expectation will be realistic yet challenging achieving high standards.
All children are encouraged to help to take care of younger children, to support staff by helping with day to day organisation. The year 6 children become buddies for new reception, to support them when they first start school.
We are very aware of the importance of links with our community and work closely with the local Playgroup, Nursery, secondary schools and community members.

Each term we focus on a value, we teach the children all about the meaning of the value and why it is important. When we notice children showing this value they might be rewarded with a values certificate.
